We have an obligation to children to allow them to be their greatest selves. It is my opinion that few public schools allow this greatness to emerge. There are examples of schools that are making some changes in this direction (example: http://www.chadphila.org), but until it is widespread, it's up to us to educate our children in ways that inspire and allow children to follow their hearts.
